Description
3,100-Lumen Ultra-Slim EDC Performance
The Nitecore EDC27 UHi takes the original EDC27’s flat, pocket-friendly silhouette and packs in two NiteLab UHi 20 LEDs for a 3,100-lumen punch and a 333-yard (305 m) throw. Slim enough to disappear in a jeans pocket, bright enough to clear a parking lot — the EDC27 UHi is built for the way real people actually carry a light.
OLED Display + Intuitive Single-Button Control
An onboard OLED screen surfaces brightness level, runtime remaining, lockout state, and battery voltage at a glance. One power button drives the entire UI: full press to power on/off, half-press to cycle modes, and a half-press from off jumps straight to Ultralow. The light remembers your last-used brightness so it always wakes up where you left it.
Two Locking Modes, Two Safety Layers
Pick mechanical or electronic lockout to suit how you carry. Mechanical lockout disables the switch entirely for travel and pocket carry; electronic lockout keeps the light responsive but immune to accidental activation in a bag or pack.
USB-C Rechargeable, Up to 55 Hours of Runtime
Charge through the protected USB-C port with the included cable. The EDC27 UHi runs up to 55 hours on Ultralow, ~14 hours on Low, and steps up cleanly through five constant outputs plus Strobe.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the EDC27 UHi compare to the original EDC27?
Same flat, pocket-friendly form factor, upgraded internals. The UHi version uses two NiteLab UHi 20 LEDs for higher output (3,100 lm vs. the original at 1,800 lm) and longer throw (333 yd), with updated runtimes, an OLED display, and refreshed switch behavior.
Is the Nitecore EDC27 UHi USB-C rechargeable?
Yes. The EDC27 UHi has a built-in USB-C port and includes a charging cable. The internal Li-ion battery is non-removable.
What does the OLED display show?
Brightness mode, runtime remaining at the current output, lockout state, and real-time battery voltage. No more guessing how much runtime you have left.
Is the EDC27 UHi waterproof?
It is IP54 rated, meaning it withstands dust ingress and water splashes from any direction. Not submersible — if you need full submersion (IP68), step up to a different model.
How does the lockout function work?
Two modes. Mechanical lockout fully disables the switch — ideal for travel and pocket carry. Electronic lockout keeps the light responsive but prevents accidental activation in a bag.
What is included in the box?
Nitecore EDC27 UHi flashlight, USB-C charging cable, and lanyard.
