Layaway Policy

Superior Tactical offers layaway so you can reserve the gear you want and pay for it over time — no lender, no credit check, no financing application. You make a deposit, pay the balance at your own pace, and we ship your order once it’s paid in full.

How it works

  1. Choose layaway at checkout. On eligible products (priced $100 and up), select the layaway option and place your order.
  2. Pay your deposit. A 25% deposit of the order total is due at checkout to start your layaway and reserve your item.
  3. Pay at your own pace. Log into your account anytime to make payments toward your balance. You can pay it off early with no penalty.
  4. We ship when it’s paid in full. Your order is held and reserved for you while on layaway. As soon as the final payment is received, we process and ship it.

Terms

  • Deposit: 25% of the order total, due at checkout.
  • Payment window: You have 90 days from the order date to pay the balance in full.
  • Payments: Made through your account at superiortac.com. You choose the amount and frequency.
  • Reserved inventory: Layaway items — including serialized units such as night vision and thermal optics — are removed from available stock and held for you for the duration of your layaway.
  • Shipping: Orders ship only after the balance is paid in full. Standard shipping policies and any applicable state restrictions apply at the time of fulfillment.

Cancellations and refunds

We understand plans change. If you need to cancel a layaway order, the following applies:

  • Non-refundable deposit: Your 25% deposit is non-refundable. It secures your item and covers the cost of holding serialized, high-value inventory out of sellable stock during your layaway period.
  • Refund of payments beyond the deposit: Any payments you’ve made above the 25% deposit are refunded to you. The deposit itself is forfeited.
  • If you’ve only paid the deposit: The deposit is forfeited and there is nothing further to refund. You will not owe any additional amount.
  • Expired layaway: If the balance is not paid in full within the 90-day window and no extension has been arranged, the order is treated as a cancellation — the 25% deposit is forfeited and any payments beyond it are refunded.
  • How refunds are issued: Refunds are returned to the original payment method(s) used. Please allow normal processing time for the refund to post.

Good to know

  • Layaway is for personal purchases held until paid in full; items cannot be shipped, picked up, or transferred before the balance is cleared.
  • Prices and promotions are locked in at the time your layaway order is placed.
