Refund and Return Policy
Overview

The short version:
- Contact us within 3 business days of delivery to initiate any return and receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.
- Unopened items: no restocking fee — full refund to your original payment method.
- Opened items in new, resalable condition: 20% restocking fee.
- Opened image intensifier tubes and night vision devices: 30–50% restocking fee, based on condition and usage as verified by our technicians.
- Defective items or our error: no fees, and we pay return shipping.
How to Start a Return
- Contact us within 3 business days of delivery at (888) 330-7057 or sales@superiortac.com with your order number and the reason for your return.
- We'll issue an RMA number with return instructions. Returns shipped without an RMA number cannot be accepted.
- Ship your item to: Superior Tactical LLC, 7945 County Road 205, Grandview, TX 76050. Use a trackable carrier and insure the package for its full value — we recommend signature confirmation on optics. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the return is due to a defect or our error.
Return Conditions
To qualify for a refund, items must be in new, resalable condition with the original manufacturer's packaging, manuals, and all included accessories, along with proof of purchase. Items showing wear, mounting marks, or missing components may be subject to a higher restocking fee or refused. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Restocking Fees
- Unopened, factory-sealed items: no restocking fee.
- Opened items in new condition (complete with packaging and accessories): 20%.
- Opened image intensifier tubes and night vision devices: 30–50% based on condition, hours of use, and completeness.
- Defective items, transit damage, or our error: no restocking fee, and we cover return shipping.
Non-Returnable Items
- Custom builds, hand-selected tubes, and special-order configurations (unless defective)
- Gift cards and downloadable products
- Items damaged by misuse, modification, or improper installation
EOTech products are final sale per manufacturer policy; defects are covered by EOTech's factory warranty, and we'll help you file the claim.
Defective Items & Warranty
If your item arrives defective, damaged in transit, or we shipped the wrong product, contact us within 3 business days of delivery. We'll cover return shipping, waive all fees, and repair or replace the item at no cost. Gen 3 night vision optics are backed by our 10-year warranty; other products carry their manufacturer's warranty. Our in-house repair shop also offers free diagnostics.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll email you with the approval decision. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Original outbound shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error. If your refund hasn't posted after 10 business days, check with your bank or card issuer, then contact us at sales@superiortac.com.
Sale Items
Sale-priced items are covered by this same policy — they are returnable and refundable on the same terms as regular-priced items.
Exchanges
Defective or damaged items are exchanged for the same item at no cost. If you'd like a different model or configuration, start a return as described above and place a new order — that's the fastest way to get the right gear in your hands.
Export Notice
Night vision and thermal products are controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR, 22 CFR Parts 120–130). Returns must ship from within the United States. Do not ship products to us from outside the U.S.
