A high-strength, lightweight carbon fiber shell paired with Zorbium® foam liner technology delivers exceptional impact protection at one of the lowest weights in its class — 1.66 lbs in Size 1 — so you can stay focused longer with less neck and shoulder fatigue.

EXFIL® Rail 3.0 Accessory Mounting System

The third-generation EXFIL rail is 25% lighter than Rail 2.0 and fully backward-compatible with every existing EXFIL accessory. Two 5-slot Magpul® MOE® Picatinny-style rails ship with the helmet, ready for ear pro, lights, cameras, mandible, ear covers, or the EXFIL Ballistic Visor.

CAM FIT™ Retention + BOA® Fit System

One-handed dial-in fit. The BOA® Fit System dials precise tension around your skull, Cam Lock sliders adjust strap geometry, and the entire retention system can be tuned without taking the helmet off.

Wilcox® W Shroud for NVGs

Standard Wilcox® W shroud accepts any standard NVG mount. Lanyard-compatible for retention of high-value optics. NVG mount sold separately.

Air Fit Liner with Zorbium® Foam

Eight customizable comfort pads in various shapes let you dial in fit and ventilation. The center pad is removable for overhead comms headbands — Peltor®, Sordin, Ops-Core AMP, INVISIO and more sit cleanly under the helmet.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the EXFIL Carbon a ballistic helmet?

No. The EXFIL Carbon is a non-ballistic bump helmet designed for blunt impact protection, NVG and accessory mounting. It exceeds the ACH blunt impact protection requirement (AR/PD10-02), but it is not rated to stop rifle or pistol rounds. For ballistic protection, look at the EXFIL Ballistic line.

Which size do I need — Size 1 or Size 2?

Measure your head circumference at the widest point above the brow. Size 1 (M/L) fits 53–58 cm (20.75–23.0 inches). Size 2 (L/XL) fits up to 63 cm (24.75 inches). If you are between sizes, go up; the included comfort pads let you fine-tune the fit.

Does the helmet include a NVG mount?

The helmet ships with a Wilcox W shroud already installed. The NVG mount itself (e.g. Wilcox G24, Norotos, Ops-Core VAS) is sold separately and attaches to that shroud.

Will my Peltor or Sordin comms fit under this helmet?

Yes. The Air Fit Liner has a removable center pad specifically designed to accommodate an overhead comms headband. Peltor, Sordin, Ops-Core AMP, and INVISIO setups all sit cleanly under the helmet.

What is the EXFIL Rail 3.0 system and is it compatible with my older accessories?

Rail 3.0 is the latest accessory rail platform from Team Wendy — 25% lighter than Rail 2.0 and fully compatible with every existing EXFIL accessory, plus newer additions like the Ballistic Visor and Face Shield. Two 5-slot Magpul MOE Picatinny rails ship with the helmet.

What is the warranty?

One year from date of delivery against any defect in materials or workmanship.
