The Wilcox G24 Lite is the current-production lightweight variant of the industry-standard G24 — 12% lighter at 5.19 oz by replacing the G24’s carrier with the skeletonized G69 travel carriage and removing the magnets (which served only the discontinued auto-off J-arm, irrelevant for modern NVG housings). Same dovetail interface, same travel and adjustment range, same breakaway safety function. 5-year warranty when used with a Wilcox shroud. Made in the USA.

5.19 oz vs 5.86–5.91 oz for the standard G24. Uses the skeletonized travel carriage from the G69 mount — no magnets, no unnecessary weight. The magnet omission has zero operational impact: the magnets in the standard G24 only functioned with Wilcox’s discontinued auto-off J-arm. For all current NVG housings and J-arms, they serve no purpose.
Breakaway safety — toggleable on/off
Pioneered by Wilcox, the breakaway function releases under approximately 10–12 lbs of stress — reducing the risk of neck injury during fast-rope, snag, or vehicle egress scenarios. Can be switched off when a fixed mount is preferred.
