The Argus A4 is what you mount your NVGs on when you’re done compromising on weight, adjustability, and safety. Built from aerospace-grade aluminum with a mil-spec hard anodized finish, it delivers the three-axis adjustability and breakaway safety of premium mounts like the Wilcox G24 — at a fraction of the weight. At under 140 grams, it’s one of the lightest capable dovetail mounts on the market.

Key features

Three-axis adjustment

Fore/aft, up/down, and tilt — all three axes are independently adjustable and lockable. Dial in your eye relief precisely and it stays there. The A4 ensures precise return to your adjusted near-eye position after every flip-up and flip-down, which matters when you’re going from white light to green in a hurry.

Safety breakaway

If the mount is subjected to excessive force — parachute deployment, snagging on an obstacle, a fall — it automatically detaches from the helmet shroud before the force transfers to your neck. This is the same breakaway philosophy used in L4-series mounts. It’s not a gimmick; it’s a neck injury prevention system.

Low profile stow

When folded, the A4 sits close to the helmet and lowers the center of gravity of your entire NVG setup. Less perceived weight, less snag hazard, less interference when you’re moving through tight spaces.
