Manual gain via rotary switch

Single rotary knob handles both power and gain. Turn it on and keep rotating to dial brightness down — no separate button or menu.

Independent pod shutoff

Each pod powers off automatically when rotated up — eliminating helmet glow and protecting tubes from accidental light exposure.

Programmable auto-stow shutoff

System powers off when flipped up to the stowed position on the helmet and powers back on when deployed. Feature is toggleable — turn it on or off per user preference.

Dual-focus IR illuminator

Built-in IR with two modes: flood for wide area illumination, spot for focused use. Activated with a double-press of the power switch. IR-on indicator visible in the viewing area.

Choosing Your Tube

Elbit Green Phosphor XLSH — Same Gen 3 thin-filmed tube as the XLSH, rendered in classic green phosphor. Some operators prefer green for extended wear. 10-year warranty.

Elbit XLSH White Phosphor — Thin-filmed Gen 3 tubes made by Elbit Systems of America. High sensitivity, proven low-light performance, may show minor cosmetic blemishes in the image area. The standard Elbit configuration and a trusted performer across military and law enforcement. 10-year warranty.

Elbit PH White Phosphor — Tighter spot specifications than XLSH. Fewer and smaller blemishes in the image area for a cleaner viewing experience. 10-year warranty.

NNVT Autogated White Phosphor (Gen 2+) — NNVT tubes are Gen 2+, not Gen 3. They are non-U.S. manufactured and carry a 2-year warranty. Autogating automatically adjusts tube gain in rapidly changing light — useful near vehicle headlights, muzzle flash, or streetlights. Solid performance at a lower price point than U.S. Gen 3 tubes. If Gen 3 performance and U.S. warranty coverage are priorities, choose Elbit or L3Harris.

Note: MX-11769 format tubes are required for manual gain. MX-10160 tubes are compatible but manual gain is not available.

What is FOM?

Figure of Merit is calculated by multiplying a tube’s resolution (line pairs per mm) by its signal-to-noise ratio. A higher FOM generally indicates better overall performance, but two tubes with identical FOM can render differently in the field. Every tube ships with its actual measured datasheet.

Housing: 5-year warranty including accidental damage from Aeon Tac.

U.S.-made Gen 3 tubes (Elbit and L3Harris): 10-year warranty — covers the full unit including housing, optics, electronics, and tube. Does not cover accidental damage or misuse.

NNVT tubes (Gen 2+): 2-year warranty.
