Common Questions

What NVGs is the G24 compatible with?
Any NVG housing with a standard dovetail shoe — RNVG, DTNVS, ANVB, MH-1, Manticore-R, NVG Alpha, PVS-14R, Nighthawk-MG, and others. Not compatible with bayonet/horn-style interfaces.

G24 or G24 Lite — which should I buy?
The G24 Lite is 12% lighter and is the current-production recommendation for most operators. The standard G24’s magnets only function with Wilcox’s discontinued auto-off J-arm — for all current NVG systems they add no benefit. If you already own a G24, there’s no reason to swap. If buying new, the G24 Lite is the better pick.

Does it work with non-Wilcox shrouds?
Yes — the G24 is compatible with any standard dovetail shroud. Using a non-Wilcox shroud reduces the warranty to 1 year and may affect stability.
