The BNVD-1431 MK II housing is a fiber-reinforced polycarbonate articulating binocular housing with adjustable pod tension, central power knob with variable gain, AA battery + Fischer external port, and IPD stops. 565g, 72×99×112mm, ~25 hours CR123A equivalent. This listing is for the housing only — NNVT 1600+ FOM Gen 2+ tubes only.

This is a housing-only kit for builders who want to assemble their own night vision system. Tubes are not included — you source your own tubes and bring them to us for assembly, or install them yourself. Optics (lenses) are available as a selection at checkout.

Note: This housing is sold with NNVT 1600+ FOM Gen 2+ autogated white phosphor tubes only. U.S. Gen 3 tubes are not offered in this housing.

Does this kit include the image intensifier tube?
No. This is a housing kit — it includes every component needed to build a complete AN/PVS-14 except the image intensifier tube. You can source a tube separately from our image intensifier inventory or call us at (888) 330-7057 to hand select one to pair with this kit.

What image intensifier tubes are compatible?
This housing accepts standard 18mm Gen 2 and Gen 3 image intensifier tubes, including L3Harris and Elbit tubes. Contact us for current tube inventory and hand select options.

Is this built to military specification?
Yes. All components are manufactured, assembled, and tested in accordance with US Military specifications. This is the same standard used for military-issue AN/PVS-14 units.
